Where it started

Organic & Fresh Food Industry Sdn Bhd opened in Prai, Penang in May 2009 and became the first company in Malaysia to make instant semi-dry ramen. We called it Ippin, and the name has been on every pack since. Semi-dry ramen sits between fresh and instant. It is never fried, so it keeps the springy bite of fresh noodles — yet it cooks in about two and a half minutes and keeps for months. Fresh taste with the convenience a busy kitchen needs: that balance is still what we build everything around.

From one noodle to five ranges

What began as a single ramen is now a catalogue of fresh noodles, pastes, broths and complete meals. Egg, spinach, pumpkin, kale, charcoal and green-tea ramen sit alongside soba, udon, pan mee and mi tarik. Our pastes carry the flavours we grew up with — Penang Asam Laksa, Nyonya Curry Laksa, Nyonya Green Curry — next to Japanese curry, yuzu and black goma. For kitchens short on time, our Ready to Cook and Ready to Eat packs put a complete bowl on the table in minutes, with the noodles, soup and toppings together in one pack.

Restaurants, cafés, hotels, caterers and central kitchens choose Ippin for the same reasons: consistent taste, faster preparation and portions that come out the same every service. Retailers and distributors carry us from Penang to Sarawak, and home cooks find us on their shelves. Feeding our community
We provide food to orphanages and homes for the elderly, so that what we make also reaches the people who need it most.
Nothing artificial
No added artificial colouring and no artificial fragrance, and our noodles are never fried. Food made to be eaten every day, with nothing to hide on the label.
Protecting water and land
Waste from our production is managed and discharged properly, to reduce pollution of our water and the environment around the factory.
